Gas cleaning systems are a focal point of a turnkey unit scope of supply. Next to our core products of single and multistage packing scrubbers, we also manufacture jet spray, nozzle spray, and venturi scrubbers.
Different types of hot gas quenches can be applied for cooling and saturating hot gases.
All of our components are manufactured using corrosion resistant materials, mainly plastics. Using a proven layout, these plastic components and units can be operated with gas inlet temperatures up to 1300 °C.
We also have a great deal of experience in the separation of acid and alkaline pollutants like SO2, HCl, HF, HBr and NH3 as well as elemental halogens e. g. Cl2 and Br2.
Our random packing scrubbing columns are being use more and more often for direct heat exchange between gases and liquids as part of new heat recovery systems.
SEPARATION OF PARTICULATE MATTERS AND AEROSOLS
Our plants for the separation of particulate matters and aerosols are designed with special separation equipment that complies with environmental regulations. We can deliver:
- High performance demisters
- Electrostatic filters with wet treatment
- Tissue filters
Besides the standard electrostatic filters with wet treatment, the so-called “CAROLA” (corona aerosol) separation system is exclusively supplied by RVT Process Equipment GmbH. This patented process has been developed by Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe and is licensed to RVT Process Equipment GmbH.
The particulate matters and aerosols are charged by a high voltage as they pass through a nozzle-type ionization device, and then become separated by random packing working as a collecting device. The specific energy demand of this process is much less than that of a conventional electrostatic filter.
Tissue filters of various types can be used for applications requiring the separation of dust from dry media.
